Dear Industry Partner,

Please note that all information relating to COVID-19 processes and SAHPRA can be found on our website.

See link below

At this stage, SAHPRA is still fully functional and we aim to maintain this status – and you can help!

Please note that all permits, certificates, licences, recommendations, resolutions and letters will no longer be collected from SAHPRA offices, including SAHPRA reception in building 38.

These will be e-mailed to applicants.

The original documents will be collected at a date to be communicated by SAHPRA to industry.

The Application process (BAU and Backlog) is not affected at this stage.

You may still visit Building 38 without an appointment.

  • All product shortages should be reported irrespective whether related to Covid 19 or Public health need

  • This includes both public and private

  • SAPHRA will be communicating how review will be done

Please see the complete communique from SAHPRA with more details on the protocol of the Interaction with Industry attached to the link here.

SAHPRA is working with the National Department of Health (NDoH) and industry to actively monitor the potential impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and respond to any disruptions or shortages as the public health emergency develops.
