AI WEBINAR
hosted March 2026
Dear SACRA Members,
An insightful webinar exploring AI Trends in Clinical Trials and how the industry can navigate the reality behind AI hallucinations.
In a world where AI can generate answers instantly, it is more important than ever to hear from real SMEs — Subject Matter Experts (not synthetic ones). Our expert speakers unpacked the practical realities of AI in clinical research and what professionals need to know.
During this session we explored:
-
Fact vs Fiction
-
The Do’s & Don’ts when using AI
-
How AI models are actually trained
-
The Good & The Bad of AI in clinical research
Whether you work in clinical sites, CROs, pharma, data management, pharmacovigilance, quality assurance, or medical writing, this webinar provides valuable insight into how AI may impact your work and the broader clinical trials ecosystem.
This is an opportunity to learn from REAL industry experts and separate AI hype from reality.

On behalf of the South African Clinical Research Association (SACRA) EXCO and conference organising committee, we were honoured and delighted to have welcomed you to our 8th Clinical Research Conference.
The two-day conference program was put together with the aim of providing a forum for attendees to exchange information, engage in extensive discussions as well as foster networking and planning for future collaboration.
A big thank you to the conference organisers and volunteers for all their hard work in putting the program together. We are grateful to everyone who has supported the program and to the delegates and speakers who have graciously accepted our invitations.
Thanks to the support we continue to receive from the industry sponsors, for whom SACRA as a collective and its executive committee are eternally grateful for, without which this conference would not have been possible.
Thank you for attending the SACRA conference and we hope it was a platform to engage and discuss future opportunities and challenges.
